Hi!
I am Mesmes [Mesh-mesh] from Budapest, Hungary – a DJ, producer, dancer, and event organizer with a deep love for music and movement. After exploring several dance styles and DJing across salsa, rock & roll, Latin and WCS, I fell in love with Brazilian zouk and lambada in 2013,—and zouk DJing soon after!
Since then, I mainly play Brazilian zouk and lambada, while expanding to ecstatic and fusion dance, where I bring together all the music styles I love. No matter the dancefloor, I tune into the energy of the moment to create a deep emotional journey, an immersive experience, a fiery and passionate athmosphere, or a light playful flow—depending on the vibe.
My mission is to invoke love, sensitivity, joy, and fun through music creating a safe, timeless, and heartful space where dancers can arrive to share memorable moments and connect deeply—with themselves, each other, and the music.

Approach
In Brazilian zouk DJing, I mix and blend many styles of zoukable music as I find the best thing about zouk that it is so universal, so musical, and can go so deep! It allows dancers to experience a huge variety of feelings, dynamics, and rhythms on the dancefloor while fostering an amazingly high level of connection! If dancers seem open, I also love to surprise them with songs out of the box.
In fusion and ecstatic DJing the creative space is even broader. Here, I usually invite dancers to explore more extremes and contrasts than in zouk.
In my musicality workshops, I aim to show and let people experience different aspects of the music, like timing, structure or moods of the music described with the elements of nature.
As an audio and video engineer and organizer, I aim to help organizers with my technical background to create a professional and safe environment for DJs where they can focus on the music they play and give their best to the audience while keeping organizational aspects in account.

- M.Sc. in Audio and Video Engineering
- Dance experience in hip-hop, ballroom, latin, salsa, boogie-woogie, belly dance, ceroc, west coast swing, afrobeat, kizomba, Brazilian zouk, lambada, consla and fusion dance
- DJ experience in latin, rock & roll/boogie-woogie, salsa, ceroc, west coast swing, with a focus on Brazilian zouk since 2014
- Resident DJ at I Heart Zouk Radio in 2020–2021
- Completed courses in electronic music production
- Studied music theory and learned to play the flute and the drums
- Organizing parties since 2010, including zouk parties, weekenders and retreats since 2015
- Studied and practiced energy work, sound therapy, yoga and tantra
- Former graphic and web designer, and video editor—I create my own website, videos and graphic elements

Since 2019, I have been creating zoukable remixes to bring more beauty and fun to the zouk dancefloor. I enjoy enhancing memorable songs, subtly adjusting them thus they become more natural and enjoyable for zouk dancing. So far, I have released five remix albums, including a special Christmas Edition featuring festive songs.

Ready to Travel
I am based in the Heart of Europe, in a town called Vác, close to my beautiful hometown, Budapest—a major flight hub with numerous destinations. As a Wizz Air Discount Club member, I can access reduced fares for their flights.
Budapest also offers excellent train connections to surrounding countries. Direct routes to Slovakia, the Czech Republic, East Germany, and Poland also stop in Vác, providing convenient travel options from my base.
As a self-employed professional, I have flexibility with travel if booked in advance. For instance, in my 2024 Summer Tour, I travelled twice for 26–27 days across Europe by train.
